You thus admit that all the messages posted on this forum express the sight and opinion of their respective authors and not those of the moderators or the Webmaster (except messages posted by them) and consequently, they cannot be held responsible of the discussions.

The Rules Of TowInfo
Policies and Guidelines of this board

1) Your first post Must be an introduction to the board. Once that is Completed, You will become a member and have Full access. To introduce yourself go to our Introduction Room, click on the "New Topic" button, write your introduction, and then click on the "Send" button, This must tell us a little bit about you, such as... your name, where you are from, what you do, ect... If you do not include such information, your post will be deleted and you will need to re-do it.

2) Be Professional, This board does Not try to censor people. We will at times edit a post if we find language to be offensive and leave an "edit reason" at the bottom of the post, Because we do welcome spouses and minors to join us, and it is a "public forum"... So we would like to uphold a "Professional" Image, If we edit a post, please try to understand that we are trying to be professionals and, ask that you be professional.

3) If we move or delete a post, We WILL send the "poster" a PM tell him/her that we did so and why.

4) You are allowed to speak you mind here, with that being said... we would ask that you only speak the "Truth" and stay away from direct "Bashing" ( If you have problems with a dealer, manufacturer, equiptment, another board, a person, ect... you can post it and talk about it here, just try to stick to the FACTS! ) NO "personal attacts" will be tolorated!

5) Proper Forum Use. Keep it professional by using the proper forums. If a post is better suited for another forum it will be moved and a PM will be sent to the "poster". If your post appears to be missing please check the other forums to see if it was moved.


6) Advertising equipment is allowed by ALL members in the Equipment Listing Forum, The use of a company banner as your custom signature is also allowed.


7) Please only ONE profile per person, additional profiles will be locked out and deleted, and you should contact the Admin BEFORE trying to change profiles for any reason!

8) Your Profile must be filled in... ei... real name, location, birthdate, a little about you, ect...If you violate this, your account will be deactivated until you do

9) If you have a problem with a member or a members post... You have a problem with that MEMBER, NOT this board! You should take the issue up with that member ONE ON ONE, Not on this board! and NOT by dragging other members into it!

10) If a post gets out of hand, an Admin will respond and close the post, ANY other adverse comments on it will result in a "Warning" for the offending member!

11) Any post considered as a "slam","racial", or totally out of line will be closed and moved and 1(one) "WARNING" will be sent, then if it repeats, you can/ will be banned

12) Do NOT send copies of post from here to outside sources for the purpose of causing controversy with other boards or members, violations of this can/will cause a "BAN"

13) Editing: If you need a post "Edited" please contact an Admin or Moderator, and we will edit it for you.

14) Towinfo was created as a community for Towing and Recovery Professionals to come and share ideas, ideology, and friendship. It is a Forum that does not "compete" with other boards, bash other boards, or discuss other boards. All members are asked to refrain from bringing conflicts from or about other boards to our Forum. Any posts with mention of another forum in any negative manner, will be moved by a moderator to the storage locker and a PM sent reminding our members what we are here for, NO EXCEPTIONS, repeated offences could result in being banned

15) Using this board or contents from it to "throw another tower under the bus" WILL get you BANNED!!! No excuses, No warnings, No Discussions... Use of the board to "throw a tower under the bus" and you will be GONE immediately!.
